ITS TIME TO DROP BOMBS ON IRAQ

At this point, its clear now we arent going to find any weapons of mass destruction. The only reason we are in Iraq and Afghanistan is because of oil..

We need to give the residents of these 2 countries 24-48 hours to evacuate and then bomb these 2 areas (just like with Hiroshima and Nagasaki). This can easily be done with protecting the oil lines. No more American lives need to be lost.

Also, its about time we closed US Borders for immigrants. There was a time for immigrants, that time is past. We need to take care of Our people first and foremost.

BAR: Oh, you mean drop a couple atomic bombs? Well given the size of the country and the fact most residents will be on foot, we may need to allow a month or so for them to evacuate...and I guess they'll be walking straight into the Persian Gulf on accounta the border countries likely won't be too keen about 25 million new residents.

Meanwhile, let me know when this happens, so I can invest in a company which manufactures radiation suits for oilfield workers.

The author of this post proposes that all MidEasterners be given time (albeit sweet fückall time, but time nonetheless) to evacuate their countries, but then in the same post proposes that the US close all its borders to immigrants. So, basically, screw these people out of a homeland and then tell them to piss off if they try to enter yours?

er...American foreign policy has been doing this in the middle east for decades.

As far as a lot of arabs are concerned, Iraq is a golden opportunity for some payback.

Until the U.S. military takes off the kid gloves these peripheral losses will mount. I am in favor of atomic-based weapons being used but not high yield thermonuclear warheads or fission bombs. Something along the lines of a neutron bomb. I'd like to see al-Sadr rotting from one of those.

It's funny you should mention that. I was actively involved in a NW program for 2 years. I actually patrolled my zone (3 blocks by 3 blocks) and made 2 citizen's arrests. One time I settled a score without the authorities in which this kid stole a 36" TV. It was his revenge for her niece dumping him. I thought he might have had help but he insisted he acted alone. After he refused to produce or even compensate for his misdeed, I waited for him to piss someone else off and shortly thereafter he found a flattened tire in the driver's seat via the windshield.

Anyway, I did carry a firearm just in case but my primary weapon to subdue someone was a stun baton. I never pulled a firearm on anyone.

Regrettably, I moved away and they couldn't find anyone to watch at night even though it was only 4 days a week. The other gentleman that did it was more of a batman-type (call him with the bat signal or in this case, a pager) he didn't like to move unless necessary. He had a very stressful job and I didn't blame him for not wanting to expand his responsibilities.
